Given all the new content arriving in Halo Infinite, dataminers are searching the game’s file for clues. One of the things they have found is an iconic ship from Halo: Reach. Multiple Twitter accounts have revealed that the UH-144 Falcon vehicle from Halo: Reach is a part of the game files for Halo Infinite. There is even a video of dataminers being able to spawn what looks to be an unfinished Falcon into the game and test it out.
— Rebs Gaming (@Mr_Rebs_) August 23, 2022 The leak seems very much plausible as the UH-144 Falcon will become a usable vehicle for the battle royale and cooperative campaign modes.
UH-144 Falcon
The UH-144 Falcon is a troop transport helicopter that the UNMC Army used during Halo: Reach. It replaced the Pelican and was the primary air transport vehicle in the said game. It is a capable transport vehicle that can provide support when needed via two M247H heavy machine guns as well as a chin-mounted M638 autocannon and an optional automatic grenade launcher. The Falcon found in Halo Infinite doesn’t seem like it has an autocannon. It also isn’t clear how many troops it can carry. While the video shows that the Falcon model in the game files seems unfinished, it is fun to see the iconic vehicle come back to the game.
Other leaked items
There are more leaks for Halo Infinite from dataminers. They have found several weapons and equipment in the game’s files. One of the leaked weapons is the “Bandit” rifle which looks similar to the Halo DMR. There is also the Lacerator, a heavy machine gun that dishes out a lot of damage and can fire EMPs to disable vehicles. Dataminers have also found the rapid-firing Plasma Liquidator and an unnamed double barrel shotgun. There are also audio files for the SMG, Beam Rifle, and Infected Energy Sword. New equipment has been found through the game files. The Stasis Field can pull objects and players to the center of of its area-of-effect. The Shroud Screen is a bubble that surrounds a player and does not allow others to see what or who is inside it. There is also the Quantum Translocator that allows players to teleport from one point to another. All the leaks found by dataminers suggest that we will be getting some significant updates in the coming months. Let us hope that 343 Industries gives us more updates on the planned content soon. Season 3 of Halo Infinite will be coming on November 8, 2022.
