David Harbour will be adding to the list of upcoming horror games as he recently revealed that he is working on an unnamed title. The actor recently sat down with Video Games FN to talk about gaming-related topics. During the interview, Harbour was asked if he would like to star in a video game, as he is currently working on the Gran Turismo film adaptation. The actor revealed that he is already working on a video game project. “I actually have one coming out,” Harbour said. “Me and Jodie Comer did a video game. That’ll be coming out… I think it’s next year. A horror game.” Harbour did not give clues or a title for the upcoming horror game. However, it is exciting to know that an upcoming video game will involve both Harbour and Comer. There are a number of upcoming horror games that could potentially cast Harbour and Comer. Alan Wake 2 from Remedy Entertainment is a strong candidate as the studio has a history of celebrity castings for their games. Another potential contender would be Hideo Kojima’s Overdose as the enigmatic director recently teased the casting of Elle Fanning and Shioli Kutsuna in one of his upcoming games. David Harbour is best known for his role as Jim Hopper in the hit Netflix series Stranger Things. He also starred as Hellboy in the reboot of the movie. Harbour also appeared in the MCU as Red Guardian in Black Widow and will be part of the upcoming Thunderbolts movie. The actor will next be taking part in the movie adaptation of the hit racing simulation series Gran Turismo. Harbour has been cast as the trainer of the teenage driver Jann Mardenborough played by Archie Madekwe. Mardenborough won the GT Academy competition and went on to become a professional racing driver. Gran Turismo has just recently started filming in Hungary. The movie is set to be released on August 11, 2023. During the interview with Video Games FN, Harbour shared his passion for video games. He was a big World of Warcraft player when the game came out and has recently partnered with Blizzard to promote the most recent expansion for the MMORPG World of Warcraft: Dragonflight. Jodie Comer rose to prominence in her role as Oksana Astankova in the BBC America spy series Killing Eve. She also appeared in the Ryan Reynolds-led movie Free Guy as Molotov Girl. Her most recent film is the Riddley Scott historical drama The Last Duel alongside Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. Comer is also a big video game fan with Grand Theft Auto being her favorite title. The actor said she took “Grand Theft Auto way too seriously.”
