Treyarch recently revealed that the Outbreak mode for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is starting to gain a lot of popularity. Because of this, they plan on supporting Outbreak, adding new content, including a highly anticipated main quest.
What’s The First Main Quest for Black Ops Cold War Zombies?
Treyarch isn’t really revealing much about what to expect for the first main quest in Black Ops Cold War zombies. Then again, this is expected. Call of Duty has a history of keeping anything related to the Zombies mode a secret until it happens. Still, Treyarch did unveil several things that fans can expect on May 20, aside from the main quest. This includes more intel documents for players to discover and collect, as well as a new Orda Encounter world event. Also, for some reason, Treyarch is adding fishing. In addition to these, Treyarch is also adding Cranked 2: No Time to Crank to Firebase Z and Die Maschine on May 20. Along with this comes a new Silverback Slideways bonus map for Dead Ops Arcade 3. Activision and Treyarch will also prioritize PlayStation users in the next update. They’ll receive a new map and mode on top of another challenge with a weapon blueprint as a reward. Admittedly, the list of new things coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies on May 20 is quite long. So, if you’re interested, we recommend checking out the official announcement.
What’s Next for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War?
The action begins May 20th. pic.twitter.com/8Rr3c7g26u — Call of Duty (@CallofDuty) May 13, 2021 Treyarch states that it is currently working on a new map following the events of the main quest for Black Ops Cold War Zombies. The studio explains that they have been working on the map since before they launched Firebase Z. However, there is no word as of yet as to when that will arrive and how it will look like. With this new content, Treyarch is thanking its fans for their patience and hopes that you “have a blast” with all the Zombies content that’s coming in the next couple of weeks. Aside from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, May 20 is also a significant date for Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Mobile. In particular, because it’s when the ’80s Action Hero content will arrive, which, according to Activision, will be in-game character skins of Sylvester Stallon as John Rambo and Bruce Willis as John McClane.
