While it’s not necessary to find Luthier’s Key to further your progress in the game, finding it does take you on a worthwhile treasure hunt that yields some pretty useful stuff. Scroll down below to learn how to find Luthier’s Key in Resident Evil Village.
Be Sure to Take Care of Lady Dimitrescu First
We understand wanting to get your hands on Luthier’s Key as early as possible, especially since it is possible to get to the game’s ending and not get a chance to use it. However, for that to happen, you’ll need to take care of Lady Dimitrescu at Castle Dimitrescu first. It is only after unlocking the way to Donna Beneviento that you’ll be able to access Luthier’s Key.
The Way to Luthier’s Key
To get to Donna Beneviento, players will need to assemble the Four-Winged key first. Don’t worry. You can’t miss this. It’s part of the plot and will let you open the northern gate of the Altar area. Just keep on following the path until you find several lynched dolls hanging around along with Mia Once you get to the point where the paths converse with the south headed to Donna Beneviento, take the northern path and head towards the Garden. The general area of Luthier’s Key will be marked with a treasure icon on the map, so it’s not hard to find. Specifically, you’ll find Luthier’s Key inside a shack with a save point.
How to Use Luthier’s Key in Resident Evil Village
One of the most peculiar things about Luthier’s Key in Resident Evil Village is that it’s not as straightforward as to when and where you’ll use it. Unlike other keys in Resident Evil Village, you can’t inspect Luthier’s Key for its secrets. Instead, you’ll have to check out the violin and find a door in the village that has the same symbol in it. Once you find that door, you’ll have solved one part of the proverbial puzzle, which is where to use Luthier’s Key. The second part is a little tricky and where even more players tend to struggle. Instead of giving you the treasure after opening the door, it remains hidden behind a combination lock, with seemingly no clue left for you to know how to unlock it. But, as it turns out, the code is right there inside the very same house, written on a birthday drawing. The code, 270917, will open the combination lock and give you a Steel Hræsvelgr and a Hi-Capacity Mag for the F2 Rifle.
