With that said, now that it’s out, it appears that dataminers are already hard at work trying to find out if it’s going to get more content and it seems like this is indeed the case.
What have dataminers found inside Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl?
A prominent leak from dataminers that popped up on 4Chan and eventually landed on Reddit offers an embarrassment of clues as to which characters are going to join Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl next. Although this isn’t a character, one of the files suggests that a Garfield-themed stage is coming to the game eventually. The said stage even comes with a placeholder for the apathetic feline. Another artwork found in the game’s files also hints at Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ big baddie, Shredder, who the developers have hidden under a code name, cheese. Dataminers have found other placeholder lines for several potential upcoming characters as well. This includes everyone from SpongeBob’s Mr. Krabs, Plankton, and Squidward to Rugrats’ lead toddler, Tommy Pickles. There are also voice lines from Rocko’s Modern Life’s titular protagonist, as well as the boy genius himself, Jimmy Neutron. At the moment, there are 20 characters available to play in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl with just as many stages. In comparison, its main inspiration and competition, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, just saw its 82nd fighter make his way into the game. While we are aware that the game doesn’t need to have as many fighters, it would be nice if it had a larger roster, which certainly seems to be the case. Of course, the developers have not confirmed anything at the moment. Besides, placeholders and references are not uncommon in games. Also, plans change very often. Some characters in the in-game files might never come to the game at all. The good news is that characters that were never teased might be added to the game in the future based on fan feedback. With that said, we can only hope that the future DLC for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl includes fan-favorite characters and surprising additions.
