In July, Ubisoft introduced several Assassin’s Creed games to the PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium tier library. Now, the French publisher is thinking about adding Ghost Recon Wildlands as well. The info comes from Dealabs’ billbil-kun. The insider has a proven track record for correctly leaking PS Plus games. Unfortunately, billbill-kun did not specify when Ghost Recon Wildlands will be added to the PS Plus library. Whereas other video game publishers appear to favor one console manufacturer over the other, Ubisoft is playing both sides. It is believed that Ubisoft Plus will eventually become a feature of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Meanwhile, the Ubisoft Plus Classics library will add 50 games exclusively to Extra and Premium/Deluxe tier subscribers before the year ends. Also, if Ghost Recon Wildlands joins PS Plus, it will be the next in a long line of Ubisoft games that are available on both rival subscription services. As per Microsoft, Ghost Recon Wildlands is one of the highlights of the Xbox Game Pass for August alongside Two Point Campus and more. Earlier this month, Sony confirmed the PS Plus lineup for August just hours after billbill-kun leaked it online. If we’re lucky, we’ll see another short leak-to-reveal turnaround time. Speaking of Ubisoft, it’s been a rough quarter for the French publisher. In recent weeks, we just found out that it will delay Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora by at least a year on top of an unannounced Assassin’s Creed game. If it’s any consolation, Ubisoft does have a few good things going for it. The last we heard, Forgotten Saga, the free roguelike mode for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, is actually quite good. Also, Skull and Bones is finally coming out on November 8. Finally, Ubisoft will be at Gamescom 2022, where we’re hoping that it has more good news in store for those hoping to hear more about its in-development games like Beyond Good and Evil 2 as well as the future of Assassin’s Creed.
