In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Rothman gave fans a slither of hope for when to expect Spider-Man 4 to come out. Although Rothman didn’t give us a release window, Rothman said that the fourth solo film for Tom Holland in the MCU is a sure thing. However, most likely, Spider-Man 4 will come out after Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse launches next June. But, we feel more confident giving it a 2025 release window since we still have Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse to look forward to on March 29, 2024.
♬ Epic Orchestra - RK Sound It makes plenty of sense for the next MCU outing by Spider-Man to take a long time. No Way Home effectively rebooted Peter Parker’s story in the MCU, setting him up to be more like the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man that comic book fans grew up loving. Whatever happens, Rothman’s words is a good sign that Spider-Man 4 is on track to be out in the next few years. In the meantime, the more analytical fans can comb through the MCU’s release date going forward. Now that Phase 4 has ended with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the fifth phase will kick off starting with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania on February 17. This run will last through September 6, 2024, with Blade, which has since found a director and writer. But, this can still change as Thunderbolts was originally scheduled to conclude Phase 5 of the MCU on July 26, 2024. At this rate, we wouldn’t be surprised if Kevin Feige slots Spider-Man 4 between Deadpool 3 (November 8, 2024) and Fantastic Four (February 14, 2025) although scheduling the film to premiere after Daredevil: Born Again rolls out in early 2024 isn’t out of the question either. For now, Sony is keeping Spider-Man fans busy with the Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, which recently welcomed Donald Glover in a villainous role. Gamers can also expect Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to come out next fall.
