According to Sony, the free PS Plus games for February 2022 are Planet Coaster: Console Edition (PS5) and EA Sports UFC 4 as well as Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragonkeep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure. Planet Coaster isn’t half-bad even though simulation games don’t usually do well on the PS Plus. The worst offenders were are EA Sports UFC 4 and Tiny Tina’s Assault on Draognkeep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure. EA Sports UFC 4 is the latest UFC game by Electronic Arts. Unfortunately, because it caters to a market that doesn’t hesitate to shell out money for a slightly improved new iteration of the same game every year, the game’s target audience probably already owns a copy. Meanwhile, Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure isn’t half-bad, but it’s not good either. The standalone version of the Borderlands 2 DLC served as the inspiration for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, which would’ve been great except it’s a bit lacking in content and you can’t help wonder if Sony should have tried getting Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands instead. Ultimately, Sony’s February 2022 lineup is weak. All three games aren’t a huge draw, either individually or combined. The worst part here is that saying that the offerings are bad won’t do anyone any good either. We can only hope that Sony has something up its sleeve in March to make up for February. In other Sony news, the console manufacturer saw a huge drop in its stock prices after Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard. A Sony spokesperson later released a statement addressing the buyout. Going forward, Sony still expects Microsoft to fulfill all of Activision’s existing agreements with the company. Finally, an insider claims that Sony is preparing for a big State of Play event in February.
