First things first, let’s talk about what Ghostbusters: Afterlife is going to be about. According to the film’s official synopsis, Afterlife will revolve around the story of a single mother and her two children. The trio move to Summerville, Oklahoma after an unknown relative literally gives them the keys to their property. As it turns out, the family is related to the original Ghostbusters, who, by this time, are considered more of a myth. Most don’t even remember the events of the original film anymore, otherwise known as the Manhattan Crossrip of 1984. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film was delayed multiple times. It wasn’t until earlier this year that the November 11, 2021 premiere date was finally confirmed.
